St John's Chili Cook Off --- Friday, January 27, 2012 6:30 in the Gym TICKETS: Adults: $4.00 Children 5-12: $2.00 Children under 5 : FREE Family Ticket: $10.00 Bring your family and friends and enjoy a great evening of good chili (and all the fixings) and entertainment by St. John school students. Vote for the chili (or chilies) of your choice in the categories of "Most Exotic", "Hottest", "Best All-around, down-home, crowd-pleasin'", and "Best Classroom Entry.” Sample them all, then fill your bowl with your favorites! Don’t like chili? We’ll have hot dogs too. Or combine them to make a chili dog! How do you vote? With your wallet! You can stuff ballot cups with bills, coins, checks (sorry, we don’t take credit cards !) Congratulations, Mrs. Hicks!Preschool teacher, Julie Bedard, was selected by the Southern District Award Selection Committee to receive the Southern District's 2011 Early Childhood Teacher of the Year award! The Southern District of the LCMS includes Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. Congratulations, Mrs. Bedard! Our early childhood program also includes a former Southern District Early Childhood Teacher of the Year, Paula Wood, St. John's kindergarten teacher.
